The Living Memory Project (1214720)
Engaging talks weaving music, stories, and shared experiences
A new charity at the very beginning of its journey.
The Living Memory Project is in its inception phase, created to bring meaningful, memory-based activities to older people — especially those living with dementia.
Our vision is simple: to deliver engaging one-hour talks in care homes and hospitals across England. Through music, history, and storytelling, we aim to spark conversation, unlock memories, and bring moments of joy and belonging.
Where We Are Now
We are just starting out. The foundations are in place, and we are building the network of volunteers, partners, and supporters who will help turn this vision into a lasting reality.
Why It Matters
For older people, particularly those with memory difficulties, meaningful engagement can make all the difference. A familiar song, a shared story, a piece of history — these are sparks that can reconnect people with their past and with one another.
